What strong submissions do

Name the exact object

A product, model family, and individual checkpoint are not interchangeable.

Choose the exact edge

“Inspired by” is not “trained from,” and “uses” is not “descends from.”

Cite what proves it

Prefer papers, model cards, repositories, hashes, release notes, and signed attestations.

Expose uncertainty

A careful probable claim is more useful than false certainty.

The first cohort should include model historians, ML engineers, standards experts, open-source maintainers, knowledge-governance practitioners, privacy experts, animal-welfare researchers, and philosophers of mind.
